Karin’s Perspectives on Life, Teaching and Open Networked Learning

I have been teacher at Ersta Sköndal University College in Stockholm since the end of January 2015. After 14 years of teaching at Mälardalen University and at the four campuses situated in the cities of Eskilstuna, Västerås Nyköping and Södertälje I was ready to explore a new school, meet new colleagues and a different kind of pedagogy, problem based learning. I ’m a registered nurse and since my younger years also a registered biomedical scientist. My areas of interest, competence and teaching are gerontology, geriatrics, palliative care and the common existential issuses of life, living and the meaning of it all.
